The charity night in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society took place last night (4 Nov 2023) at the Breamish Hall.
A full house enjoyed listening and dancing to the sound of country music artist Paul James.

We’re pleased to report that on Sunday 16 July 2023, Kay Wilkinson of ‘Cheviot View’ Powburn, together with her friends Sue, Moya, Stella and Hilary, completed their sponsored half marathon walk – their Mighty Hike in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
With a BIG THANK YOU to Kay Wilkinson of ‘Cheviot View’ Powburn, we are pleased to announce that a total of £475.00 was raised from the recent Macmillan Coffee Morning and Children’s Crafts event that took place at Breamish Hall on Saturday 22 April 2023.

Yesterday, we told you that Kay Wilkinson of ‘Cheviot View’ Powburn will be doing a half marathon hike on 16 July 2023 to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. In addition, Kay has organised a community event – based around a celebration of St George’s Day. Everyone is welcome!
Kay Wilkinson of ‘Cheviot View’ Powburn will be doing what she can to help people living with cancer by doing a sponsored half marathon hike in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Kay will be doing the walk along the Northumberland Coast from Alnwick Castle to Craster with four women friends from her time in Leicester on 16 July 2023.

Following the successful appearance of Tiny Afro at the Breamish Hall, Powburn on Friday 18 March 2022, the final count of money raised towards the Disaster Emergency Committee for their Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal is now in.
