Anyone know of, or even remember, The Spinners? Not our own Northumberland Spinners but the British folk group that peaked at number 14 in the album charts in 1971. Yes, a long time ago, eh? Well, the first LP I ever bought (for the younger ones among us, this is what’s currently called ‘a vinyl’) was ‘Black and White’ by The Spinners. Community Help (Coronavirus/COVID-19)

We take the welfare of all residents extremely seriously.

The greatest concern is for elderly and vulnerable people in our community, many of whom may be self-isolating due to ongoing health issues.

With this in mind, the community has formed a group of local volunteers to help ANYONE who needs assistance.

We live in such a beautiful part of the country here in north Northumberland and we want people to come and enjoy all that it has to offer: the open spaces, the fresh air, the dark skies, the wildlife and flowers.

It’s a joy to see children especially delighting in the surroundings.

So, that’s almost another year completed. Phew! Where did it go? Did you manage to stay on top of your New Year resolutions (still a few weeks to go, of course). Or maybe you didn’t bother.
