Money raised from Pie & Pea Supper

The Pie and Pea Supper event held last night at the Breamish Hall in support of the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal was a great success. May Wilson, who organised the event, has sent this message:

“A massive thanks to everyone who attended and supported the event in many ways, including those who gave raffle prizes and donations. It far exceeded my expectations. Everyone pulled together to make it a successful night. Special thanks to Mike and Wendy Gains who, at such short notice, organised the quiz. And not forgetting everyone who worked hard setting up before the event, serving and clearing up afterwards.  

£1128.20 was raised last night!

“This money will be given to The Disaster Emergency Committee for their Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

“Also, all proceeds from the ‘Tiny Afro’ event next Friday will be donated to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.

“Ticket are still available for Tiny Afro on the 18th March 2022.
