Tiny Afro event raises more money

Following the successful appearance of Tiny Afro at the Breamish Hall, Powburn on Friday 18 March 2022, the final count of money raised towards the Disaster Emergency Committee for their Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal is now in.

We’re pleased to announce that the amount raised was:

£776.00

This, together with the money raised at the recent Pie and Pea Supper event, brings the total to:

£1915.00

Many thanks to everyone who contributed to this fund-raising effort, including the individuals and our local small businesses who donated raffle prizes. It’s a real credit to a relatively small community. And it’s heart-warming to know that so many people are prepared to demonstrate their compassion for the refugees of Ukraine.
