The overnight cold snap brought a thin covering of snow to the Cheviot Hills last night. It could be seen in the distance from Powburn Village:

Then, I drove over to Bulby’s Wood and tried walking up towards the hillfort at Brough Law. But the wind got the better of me and I turned back. Just got time to take a snap of the smattering of snow on the path to the top:
