Other: Half-brother of Richard Mathew Hall and Thomas Hall: both of 2 Hedgeley Station and both of whom died in WWI. Richard Matthew Hall died on 1 June 1915. Consequently, as ‘Richard’ was thought by his family to be an ‘unlucky’ name, Richard was never known by this name but as ‘Peter’ (not a middle name).
