Poppy Time in Breamish Valley
This is a bit overdue, as the poppies are beginning to fade now – but weren’t they beautiful along the Breamish Valley this year?
Some of my favourite images are of the poppies taking a hold in the rocks and pebbles of the River Breamish riverbed, where they stand as either solitary standards or in regimented groups. Their colours ranging from a deep red to quite a light orange hue.
It’s well worth taking a little time out to go and appreciate these exquisite flowers.
