Play Area Improvements
Powburn Play Area improvements
In addition to the recent and ongoing Powburn Community Garden Improvements there are similar improvements taking place in the Powburn Children’s Play Area.
Chris Armit has been busy replacing the damaged and rotten wooden edging that surrounds the zip wire, swings and ‘baby’ swings. As usual, Chris has done a high quality job [residents will know that Chris was responsible for constructing the road sign planters at Powburn, road sign planters at Bolton and the recent War Memorial planter. So, once again, a big thank you to Chris.

Thanks to the helpers!
Several people have helped to tidy up and improve the Play Area in recent weeks, including May Wilson, Noreen Birnie, Dean Wilkinson, Robbie Burn, Doreen Burn, David Clayton, Roy Dodds, many thanks to all of you!
A huge thank you to A& J Scott Ltd, Station Sawmill, Wooperton who kindly supplied the wood shavings used for the zip wire.

I’m sure you’ll agree that the Play Area is looking particularly tidy – and more especially, safe.

What a lovely job Chris has done
