Jubilee Hall Activities

Much the same as village halls today, the Jubilee Hall was used for a wide variety of activities right from the start, including:

Emergency centre

The hall was also used by the Army as an intelligence gathering room during World War I: it held prisoners and was also used as a base for training exercises.
