Branton Lakes Nature Reserve

The Branton Lakes Nature Reserve lies within an Area of Great Landscape Value in the Breamish Valley close to the village of Branton. Formerly a sand and gravel quarry, it now provides 29 hectares of diverse habitat for a variety of wildlife.
