Dobbies Donation of plants and compost

Having got underway with planting the road sign planters in Powburn, the local community has been gifted some more plants and compost from Dobbies of Morpeth.

May Wilson (Chair of Hedgeley Parish Council) had emailed Alicia at Dobbies to ask her if Dobbies would kindly support us in making our village more charming by supporting the community by sponsoring/donating the plants.

Dobbies and Alicia were stars and agreed to support us – so a big thank you to Dobbies. May collected the Dobbies donation directly from Alicia and so was able to thank her directly.

The middle planters (those closest to the Breamish Hall) were then planted by local residents May Wilson and Robbie Burn.

I’m sure you’ll agree, they’re looking superb!
